I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
